Analyst - Configuration Management

Job Description Analyst – Configuration Management is responsible for implementing procedures and controls established within the department or functional group in accordance with FAA, GMM and department DOP regulations, policies and procedures. The role oversees the mainframe forecast establishment, updates, audits and accuracy of all technical maintenance records, and ensures concise and accurate packaging and retention of technical documentation. Responsibilities also include maintaining a complete and accurate mainframe tracking system, compliance records and status reports aligned with FAA, corporate, and department retention policies, comprehending information from manuals and documents such as Illustrated Parts Catalogs, General Maintenance Manual, Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Engineering Authorizations and Engineering Change Request Approvals, applying aircraft configuration knowledge to establish and manage control programs, developing internal technical procedures that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements, translating and integrating controls into the current maintenance program language within an M&E system, implementing technical procedures per airframe, assembly and component specifications, managing forecasting activities, identifying risks and trends, implementing corrective actions, working independently and collaboratively with Engineering, MX Programs and leadership, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a fast‑paced, high-volume environment, supporting 24/7 airline operations with flexibility for shifts, nights, weekends and holidays, and attending mandatory planning, training and project meetings with up to 10% travel and requiring or obtaining a valid passport for international travel.
