Job Summary

IT Data Leader drives business value from Data, Analytics, AI, and GenAI across Abbott Diabetes Care, acting as a trusted advisor who identifies and prioritizes high-impact initiatives, aligns stakeholders across business and IT, scales ADCs Data Product model with Design Thinking and business-led governance, and provides technical leadership on scalable, AI-ready data solutions in partnership with Architecture and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted Data and Analytics leader, partnering with business functions to identify opportunities for measurable outcomes.
• Build strong relationships across Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to align priorities.
• Translate business needs into actionable Data, Analytics, AI, and Data Product initiatives.
• Establish and scale the Data Product delivery model, championing product-centric ways of working.
• Partner with stakeholders to define, prioritize, and govern Data Products, driving discovery, roadmap development, and KPI-based value realization.
• Champion modern data engineering principles, ensuring data quality, observability, lineage, and security.
• Collaborate with Architecture and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, AI-ready enterprise data assets.
• Lead solution design and provide technical leadership across Data, Analytics, AI, and Data Product initiatives.
• Identify and assess AI and GenAI opportunities, ensuring alignment with legal, privacy, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Drive portfolio prioritization, demand management, and delivery of initiatives within budget and timelines.
• Champion business-led data governance, stewardship, and compliance best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 13 years of experience in Program Management with a focus on Data, Analytics, and AI.
• Strong expertise in project management and stakeholder alignment.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive adoption of Data Product principles.
• Experience in solution design, architecture alignment, and governance of enterprise data assets.
• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
