Architectural Design Associate

Summary The Architectural Design Associate supports the in‑house Architectural Design Team and assists the Furniture Design Team, contributing to design development, documentation, and project coordination. The role requires strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple short‑ and long‑term tasks to completion. Responsibilities Assist in all phases of design projects from construction through opening and beyond Collaborate with teams on physical environments, facilities, maintenance, and store elements Manage vendors related to buildings, finishes, installations, repairs, and maintenance Manage RFPs, present options, and ensure timely follow up Track vendor schedules, maintain calendars, and assist in budgetary approvals for vendor projects Develop and maintain SketchUp models and draft architectural drawings and details Maintain materials and samples library and support project administration, plotting, and file management Requirements Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Architecture or Interior Architecture/Design program 0-2 years of relevant design experience, retail experience a plus Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite; V‑Ray experience a plus Familiarity with construction details, strong production and technical skills Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to prioritize and be a self‑starter #J-18808-Ljbffr brobstongroup.com - Jobboard
