Litigation Associate

They are seeking a Lateral 4th or 5th year Litigation Associate that values work-life balance, as well as being part of a congenial team that achieves success together as well as independently. Requirements JD and strong academic credentials from a top, ABA-approved law school. 4 to 5 years of litigation experience at a law firm, handling General Commercial Litigation, Insurance and/or Reinsurance Disputes. Strong experience in all phases of litigation including arguing and defending motions, taking and defending depositions, and participation at trial. Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. A self-starter with great client management skills. Admitted to practice in New York (active member in good standing). Ability to work independently. The approximate annual base salary for this position is $275,000 depending upon the qualifications of the individual, and level/years of relevant experience. They also offer a discretionary year-end bonus.
