The senior manager will perform day to day support functions related to Pfizer’s WAN, Internet and Cloud DMZs. They are responsible for coordinating activities to support the WAN/DMZ Service Owners, support change activity which is associated with business (GWS & ACD), Digital or internal CISO driven changes. Specific duties include administrative and talent management for WAN/DMZ Network Engineers, management of escalation support for Network Operations, interfacing with business liaisons to ensure stability of our network services in collaboration with Service Owners, communicate & coordinate change activities. The position will focus on WAN, DMZ and Cloud engineering which will also encompass working with application support teams, Global information security and monitoring/automation teams. This role requires basic understanding of network engineering and management skills with the ability to communicate complex issues with senior leaders.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidate will be required to provide network subject matter expertise (SME) for WAN, DMZ and Cloud Technologies Own Global WAN and Telecom Service Delivery Manage the provisioning, modification, renewal, and decommissioning of enterprise WAN, Internet, MPLS, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, and telecom services worldwide. Ensure connectivity requirements for sites, datacenters, cloud platforms, and business initiatives are delivered on time. Manage Global Telecom Expenses and Financial Governance Oversee telecom billing, invoice processing, chargebacks, expense forecasting, budgeting, vendor billing compliance, and cost transparency.
