Desktop Support Technician

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite in Homestead, FL and provide end-user support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Solve a broad range of day-to-day onsite technical issues on network infrastructure and internal desktop systems

• Provide end user support to clients and their team

• Customize the customer experience for every individual, all communication, instructions, and product knowledge to the level of the individual

• Determine the most cost-effective repair to minimize customer downtime

• Be proactive in solving any situation

• Prepare reports for analysis of product failure trends and service issues

• Provide onsite desktop support for levels of end-users

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 to 3+ years of related Desktop Support experience

• AA degree, or technical training or equivalent combination of education and experience

• A+ Certification a plus but not required

• LAN and WAN experience

• Basic Networking knowledge

• Windows 10/11 experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair

• ServiceNow experience preferred

• Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products

• Enthusiastic about technology and willing to learn and stay on the cutting edge

• Personable, reliable, and relatable and responsible when interacting with clients

• Able to provide a consultative approach to solving issues

• Impeccable follow-through to client satisfaction

• Track record of punctuality, go-getter

• Not intimidated by new or complex problems and situations

Wage Range :

The rate for this position is between $24.00 - $32.00 per hour , unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
