RN Dialysis

The Dialysis Registered Nurse is a self-motivated professional responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients in the Dialysis Unit. This role requires specialized knowledge of dialysis care and the ability to manage patients across various age groups, ensuring high-quality nursing care in an outpatient chronic dialysis setting. Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status and dialysis needs.
• Plan and implement individualized dialysis care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment.
• Administer dialysis treatments and related medications safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding dialysis care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment.
• Ensure compliance with all dialysis unit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Montana or ability to obtain.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in dialysis or related fields.
• Clinical assessment and treatment planning skills specific to dialysis care.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with patients and healthcare teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for potential field work if required.

• Experience in outpatient chronic dialysis nursing.
• Knowledge of dialysis equipment and protocols.
• Additional certifications related to dialysis nursing.

• Will not accept in-state travelers unless they exceed a 250-mile radius from the facility.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient dialysis environment.

• Work schedule and shifts to be assigned based on unit needs; may include day shifts typical of outpatient dialysis centers.
