Finance Manager

We are partnered with a highly exciting, early‑stage nuclear company that is focused on revolutionizing energy at a mass scale through nuclear technology. the team are looking for a Finance Operations leader to build and scale core financial infrastructure across procurement, AP/AR, cash management, spend controls, and reporting. This is a highly visible role working closely with leadership and cross functional teams to improve processes, implement controls, and support the company through rapid expansion. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building in fast paced environments, creating structure from the ground up, and having real ownership over systems, operations, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead day to day finance operations across procurement, AP/AR, expenses, and cash management Improve and automate financial processes, controls, and workflows Oversee vendor management, purchase orders, approvals, and payment operations Administer spend management and ERP systems Partner cross functionally with engineering, supply chain, contracts, and leadership teams Support reporting, reconciliations, month end close, and audit readiness Ideal Background 5+ years within finance operations, AP/AR, procurement, or accounting operations Experience with ERP or spend management platforms such as NetSuite, Coupa, Ramp, Brex, Airbase, etc. Strong process improvement and operational mindset Comfortable operating in high growth, evolving environments Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail Highlights Pre IPO / high growth environment with strong long term upside High visibility role with direct exposure to leadership Opportunity to build scalable infrastructure and processes Mission driven company operating in a rapidly growing sector #J-18808-Ljbffr Piper Maddox
