Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Job Description Summary Dauch is searching for a Production Supervisor to join our team. This position will be based out of our Twinsburg location in Twinsburg, Ohio. Job Posting Title Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift Job Description Supervise production associate outcomes by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and mentoring associates. Communicate job expectations while planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Strive to meet production goals by observing process volumes and recommending process adjustments. Coordinate production processes by monitoring progress; expediting material flow and resolving problems to achieve desired results. Improve process workflow by eliminating stoppages and analyzing delays. Complete daily shift production reports. Maintains process flow by communicating production status, requirements, and issues with incoming shift. Maintain safe, secure, and healthy production process environment by adhering to organization standards and policies and legal regulations, while alerting others of potential concerns. Contribute to production process and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results. All other duties as assigned. Required Skills And Education 3 - 5 years of manufacturing experience. 2+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing setting. Experience working in PLEX systems or similar.
