Responsibilities

 

Are you a successful industrial sales person who is topped out at your current position?  Would you like to learn a higher technical skill that leads to significantly higher income potential? 

 

Lone Star Turbo is seeking a driven sales professional to join our Aftermarket team. This role is designed for individuals with a proven track record in sales who are looking to accelerate their career into account management and regional sales. 

 

Before taking on a more senior role and to be successful one must learn the ropes and be able to provide customers with good technical knowledge of rotating equipment, control systems and troubleshooting.  For those that already have this knowledge Lone Star would consider putting the person to a field and a base plus commission structure.  If this skill needs to be learned, another path Lone Star would put this person working inside sales for a year + to learn our industry.  In this role, you will contribute to quoting, order execution, and customer engagement for Aftermarket orders, including overhauls, parts, rentals, and coordinating with field services. You will work cross-functionally to ensure a smooth process from initial customer engagement through project completion. This is a great way to learn fast and be able to graduate to the next phase.

 

Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Manage and grow customer relationships within the Aftermarket department
  • Support quoting, order execution, and customer communication
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and field service teams
  • Drive revenue through upselling, follow-ups, and identifying new opportunities
  • Support the full sales cycle from initial inquiry through project completion
  • Gain exposure to customer projects and the sales-to-delivery process
  • Build the foundation to transition into a Regional Account Manager role

 

Qualifications 

 

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Relevant sales experience and a proven track record of performance will be strongly considered in place of a degree

 

Required 

·         3–5 years of proven success in industrial and technical sales (B2B or industrial preferred)

·         Demonstrated ability to build relationships and close business

·         Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems, coursework or internship experience acceptable

·         Strong communication and follow-through

·         Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment

·         Competitive, self-motivated, and growth-oriented

 

Preferred 

  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, equipment, or service-based environments
  • Exposure to rotating equipment, mechanical systems or technical products
  • Experience managing accounts or handling complex customer needs

Career Path

This role is designed as a launch point into Regional Account Management.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to transition into a field-based sales role with increased responsibility, customer ownership, and earning potential.

Schedule:

  • Full-Time

Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay eligibility starts after 1 year of employment

Compensation (Salary - Exempt) : $80,000 to 100,000 base pay  

(Compensation will add commissions once graduated to regional account sales position is achieved.)

Supplemental Compensation:
