Hands-On Patient Care | Growth Opportunities | Great Team Environment US Foot & Ankle Specialists is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our growing podiatry practice. If you enjoy working directly with patients, supporting physicians, and being part of a team, we'd love to meet you! You'll work alongside our podiatrists providing hands‑on patient care in a professional, fast‑paced outpatient setting. Hands‑on training and ongoing clinical training are provided, making this a great opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant or someone looking to grow their clinical skills. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Completion of a Medical Assistant program OR 1+ year of clinical experience Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills Detail‑oriented, professional, and patient‑focused Preferred Qualifications: CMA or RMA certification preferred Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems Experience with medical terminology Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Welcome, room, and prepare patients for exams and in‑office procedures Take vitals, update medical histories, record medications/allergies, and document in the EMR Assist physicians with minor procedures, post‑op care, digital X‑rays, and basic podiatric services Apply dressings, DME, and provide patient instructions and education Manage lab specimens, complete insurance verifications and pre‑authorizations, and process prescriptions as directed Make post‑operative phone calls, answer patient questions, and provide excellent customer service Open, prep, clean, and close exam rooms; sterilize instruments; manage inventory and supplies Maintain accurate documentation, support back‑office operations, and ensure HIPAA compliance Pay Range: $21 - $22 per hour, based on experience Benefits Offered: Health Insurance (Single & Family plans available) Life Insurance Disability Insurance 401(k) Plan with Company Match Employee Discount Program Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor. #J-18808-Ljbffr US Foot & Ankle Specialists
