Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly motivated attorney with 3-5 years of experience in insurance coverage to join their team in Los Angles. This primarily non-litigation role involves advising domestic and international insurers on complex coverage issues across various liability policies. Duties Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies and draft coverage opinions. Conduct legal research and draft memoranda. Review pleadings and other materials to evaluate insurance coverage implications. Collaborate with clients and colleagues on coverage strategy and policy interpretation. Attend arbitrations, hearings, and mediations as needed. Manage matters, deadlines, and client communication proactively. Requirements Excellent academic credentials. Admitted to practice in California or another U.S. jurisdiction. Experience in complex insurance coverage matters; litigation experience is a plus. Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills. Effective problem-solving and time-management skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in California or another U.S. jurisdiction. Skills Proficient in legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis.
