Job Title: General Production Worker - AM Shift
Job Description

Join a global leader in bio-solutions, Novonesis, where you will contribute to the creation of products for yogurt, animal feed, and more. As a General Production Worker, you will perform various duties essential to the production process.

Responsibilities

• Manually clean machines during product changeovers.
• Lift up to 50-pound bags of raw materials into hoppers.
• Assist operators in running various machines.
• Learn and adhere to proper GMP requirements and chemical safety practices.
• Document production runs accurately.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of general production experience.
• 1+ years of GMP experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with GMP, sanitation, and mixing/blending processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience operating packaging machines and manual packing.
• Previous experience with safely handling chemicals used for sanitation.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.

Work Environment

The AM shift operates from 4:30am to 5:00pm on a 2-2-3 schedule. The work environment is clean and climate-controlled, with a moderate pace and no unpleasant odors. Occasionally, you may be required to enter a deep freezer at -55 degrees Celsius. Employees are required to adhere to GMP standards, wearing hairnets, beard nets, smocks, steel-toed shoes, gloves, hard hats, and safety glasses.

This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
