The Licensed Assistant Manager ensures the delivery of the Target Optical Way and the Guest Experience. The successful employee will demonstrate leadership competencies such as clear communication, team building, thinking critically, collaboration, and driving results while styling our guests.

Major duties and responsibilities include:

• Partnering with the Optical Store Manager to build plans to deliver profitable store sales measured by current objectives.
• Delivering the daily sales goal by flawless execution of the WOW! Guest Experience behaviors.
• Ensuring, influencing and inspiring the team to deliver a simple, fun and in-style fashion experience by modeling the Target Optical Way.
• Providing floor leadership to ensure that guests will receive a "best in class" experience by providing guidance and direction to team members.
• Creating, living and teaching the culture to build brand awareness by attracting new guests daily from the Host to Optical.
• Supporting the Optical Store Manager with maintaining professional business partnerships with the Target Optical doctor and Target Host.
• Proactively recruiting, interviewing, training, developing, motivating and retaining Brand right Optical Team Members (OTM).
• Supporting Store Manager with Team Member accountability by providing Team Members with coaching and development to deliver the WOW! Guest Experience through regular touch bases.
• Supporting Store Manager to ensure eSchedule, Guest Retention, Guest Driving Behaviors and all current Brand initiatives are in compliance.
• Partnering with Store Manager to ensure all operating policies and procedures are followed at the highest level to include merchandising and store presentation, timely and accurate implementation of approved marketing programs and promotions, the accurate completion of all sales transactions, and utilization of all sales strategies and resources.
• Modeling the Target Optical Personal Style Dress Code.

Basic qualifications include:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• License as required by State law
• 2+ years retail or customer service experience

Pay range: - 40.19
