Payroll Assistant/Clerk - ADP

Nonprofit Organization is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant/Clerk to support the Payroll Manager in processing payroll for approximately 1,000 employees. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with ADP experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 

Role: Contract To Hire Role 
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90013

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
Work Arrangement : Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote; schedule to be determined during the interview process)
Software: ADP required
Parking: Provided

Start Date : ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll through ADP

• Work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure payroll data is entered and reviewed correctly

• Verify employee timecards, earnings, deductions, and adjustments

• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll inquiries

• Maintain payroll records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance

• Assist with payroll audits, reporting, and related administrative tasks

• Support payroll-related documentation, data entry, and recordkeeping

• Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure payroll accuracy

Qualifications
• Previous payroll experience required
• Hands-on experience with ADP
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in a high-volume payroll environment
