Payroll Specialist

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of up to $35.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities Process high-volume payroll for 1-3 groups, depending on the size of the network. Manage biweekly payroll cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Oversee payroll functions for 1-3 groups, covering approximately 2,000 employees. Handle payroll-related inquiries via phone, communicating with doctors and employees regarding personal payroll matters. Ensure compliance with payroll policies, including LOAs, sick pay, breaks, 401(k), and multi-state payroll requirements. Requirements 2 - 4+ years of experience in accounts payable and payroll processing. Previous experience with payroll within the manufacturing industry. Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced formulas. Show the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Exhibit adaptability and a willingness to grow in the role with coaching and development opportunities. Qualifications Display strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing. Possess excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle payroll complexities. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills for handling payroll-related discussions. Maintain the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple payroll groups effectively. Show proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and other payroll management tools.
