Regional Sales Director - West

Responsibilities: Recruit, onboard, train, develop, retain, and coach a team of 8-10 Clinical Sales Specialists (CSS) Lead execution of customer targeting and account planning across the assigned region Achieve all regional sales goals and targets; lead regional/territory business planning Provide field insights for strategic/tactical planning Provide feedback to improve sales and marketing strategy Monitor regional expense budgets for compliant, optimal use of resources Partner with Thought Leader Liaisons to develop compliant professional business objectives Translate corporate objectives and analytics into measurable, executable action plans for direct reports Coach and develop CSSs via field visits and regular 1:1 discussions Track, monitor, and report sales performance and progress Evaluate direct report performance; deliver clear, behavior-based feedback Foster collaboration across internal stakeholders Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies Travel ~75-80% of the work week Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree (Required) 10+ years leading a pharmaceutical/biotechnology sales team Cardiology and/or rheumatology experience (strongly preferred) Rare disease experience (strongly preferred) Experience with injectables (preferred) Specialty pharmacy and HUB dynamics for patient access (must) Knowledge of reimbursement and healthcare environment trends (must) Proven record exceeding quantitative and qualitative targets Experience in Marketing, Sales Operations, or related support functions (plus) Excellent communication; ability to translate strategy into execution Understanding of external healthcare laws/codes and company policies Compensation: Salary range: $250,000-$270,000 annually; Sales Incentive plan included #J-18808-Ljbffr Scorpion Therapeutics
