Associate Attorney

Entry-Level Opportunity for a Recent Law School Graduate Position Overview Our firm is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our Memphis office. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or newly licensed attorney who is ready to build practical legal experience, receive hands-on mentorship, and contribute meaningfully to client matters from day one. Key Responsibilities Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents. Assist attorneys with case preparation, client communications, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial-related tasks. Review and analyze facts, records, contracts, discovery responses, and other case materials. Help manage deadlines, filings, calendars, and matter updates in coordination with attorneys and support staff. Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and internal team members. Develop litigation, negotiation, writing, and client-management skills under the supervision of experienced attorneys. Qualifications Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Recent law school graduate encouraged to apply; prior attorney experience is not required. Licensed to practice law in Tennessee, awaiting Tennessee bar results, or eligible for admission in Tennessee. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills. Professional judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines. Interest in working collaboratively in a client-focused law firm environment.
