Business Development Manager - Commercial Construction We are working with an established, growth focused commercial general contractor who is looking to bring a sharp, self motivated Business Development Manager onto their team. Reporting directly to the VP of Business Development, your core objective will be targeting and securing new commercial construction opportunities. This is an outbound focused role that would fit someone who excels at connecting with developers, property owners, architects, and corporate decision makers and nurturing customer relationships and partnerships. Key Responsibilities Identify, target, and engage commercial real estate developers, property owners, corporate end-users and architects across North Texas. Conduct strategic outbound prospecting to secure introductory preconstruction meetings for executive leadership. Build strong relationships with local architects, land brokers, and site consultants to get early visibility on planned developments. Map out growth corridors across the County and wider DFW region to target upcoming commercial builds. Partner directly with the VP of Business Development to qualify leads, present turn-key, design-build solutions, and track deal progress. Maintain organized lead pipelines and key account updates using the company CRM system. Qualifications & Requirements 2-5 years of outbound business development experience, ideally within commercial general contracting, architectural/engineering client development, or commercial real estate brokerage. Demonstrated success in opening doors directly with property owners, real estate investors, commercial developers, and design firms. Understanding of the North Texas commercial real estate market and early stage deal dynamics. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
