Bankruptcy Attorney

Our AmLaw 100 law firm client has an immediate need for a Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate to join their Bankruptcy & Restructuring Group in their New York office. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement after the initial period, along with a unique career development program designed to enhance mentorship and provide a clearly defined partnership track. About the Role: The ideal candidate for this senior-level position will have 2-5 years of experience representing debtors, creditors, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders in complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters. Experience with Chapter 11 proceedings, restructurings, M&A transactions, and creditor negotiations is desired. A portable book of business is not required. Responsibilities: Represent creditors, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders in complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters Handle Chapter 11 proceedings and related restructurings Support M&A transactions arising in the bankruptcy context Lead and participate in creditor negotiations Engage in mentorship and career development activities through the firm's associate program Qualifications: 2-6 years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring matters Experience with Chapter 11 proceedings, restructurings, M&A transactions, and creditor negotiations Admitted to practice law in New York Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Portable book of business not required Hybrid work arrangement available after initial period Pay range and compensation package: The compensation range for this position is between $250,000 and $390,000. #J-18808-Ljbffr Bright Line Counsel
