Business Development Manager

B & L Steel Company Inc.

Winston Salem, NC

Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives.

• Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.

• Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, digital platforms, industry events, and market research.

• Prepare compelling business proposals, quotations, presentations, and sales contracts.

• Conduct virtual meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations with prospective clients.

• Negotiate commercial agreements and close profitable business deals.

• Maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM software.

• Collaborate with marketing, operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless project execution.

• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

• Develop strategic partnerships with distributors, contractors, manufacturers, and industrial clients.

• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, business reports, and performance metrics.

• Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure excellent after-sales support.

• Represent B & L Steel Company Inc. professionally during virtual conferences, webinars, and networking events.

• Recommend innovative business strategies to improve market penetration and customer retention.

• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

• Maintain confidentiality regarding company information and client data.
