Position: Mazak CNC Machinist
Pay: $34.00 - $36.00/hour
Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4:00 pm – 4:30 am
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Mazak CNC Machinist to start IMMEDIATELY at $34-$36/hr. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!
Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate Mazak INTEGREX multi-tasking machines with Mazatrol
- Work with Haas vertical and horizontal mills, and Haas lathes
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and specifications for machining
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality
- Adjust, calibrate, and troubleshoot CNC machines
- Confer with engineers and production teams to resolve machining issues
- Perform minor maintenance on CNC equipment
- Maintain safe and efficient machine operation during shift
- Work independently and potentially lead teams or supervise tasks
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Mazak Intergrex and Mazatrol programming
- Knowledge of Smooth AI interface
- Familiarity with Esprit programming software
- Experience operating Haas mills and lathes
- Skilled in reading blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings
- Proficient with precision measuring tools
- Ability to set up, program, and run CNC machines efficiently
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tolerances, and fixture setup
- Ability to adjust machine controls and perform minor maintenance
- Team leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
Skills:
- CNC machining expertise
- Mazak INTEGREX and Mazatrol familiarity
- Programming with Mazatrol and Esprit software
- Use of precision measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers)
- Blueprint reading and interpretation
- Machine setup, calibration, and operation
- Troubleshooting and basic CNC maintenance
