Your expertise will help shape medication management, streamline practices, and ultimately improve patient care.Embrace a mission-driven environment where your leadership mattersCollaborate with a dedicated team to create meaningful changeEnjoy opportunities for growth and development, including educational programsMake a difference in the lives of our patients and community every dayContribute to creating a safe and efficient pharmacy experienceKey ResponsibilitiesEstablish strategic planning for Retail Pharmacy Services, aligning with patient care goalsIdentify and manage workforce requirements to meet care needs and regulatory standardsDesign and manage workflows to ensure timely and efficient careImplement quality assurance and performance improvement initiativesPerform data collection and utilize reporting tools to identify opportunities for enhancementOversee the use of information systems and technology for safety in medication managementManage pharmacy inventory effectively to control costs and enhance revenueCollaborate on initiatives that optimize therapeutic outcomes and address drug-related challengesEnsure compliance with audits for controlled substances and adherence to 340b regulationsOversee financial operations, including contracting and billing practicesCreate educational activities to develop staff knowledge and competencyEnhance patient engagement and monitor outcomes through pharmacist communicationEnsure adherence to regulatory and accreditation requirements through policy developmentTake on additional duties as assigned to support the team and our missionMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy requiredActive Texas Board of Pharmacy License5-10 years of Pharmacy experience with demonstrated success OR Completed ASHP PGY1/2 Clinical Residency and/or Administrative Hospital Pharmacy ResidencyPrevious Administrative, management, or supervisory experience.Master's degree in Public Health or Healthcare/Business Management preferredWorking knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and State/Federal laws governing medical services.Exceptional leadership, mediation abilities, and multi-tasking skills required.Strong commitment to customer service and excellence in healthcare.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Basic knowledge of statistics and graphical representation principles.Computer literate in electronic mail, word processing, and office management system software.About Legacy Community HealthAs the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Southeast Texas, Legacy Community Health has been delivering comprehensive, high-quality, and affordable health care for nearly 40 years.With more than 50 clinics across the Greater Houston and Gulf Coast region, we continue to grow strategically and invest in our communities.
