Territory Sales Manager

Bloom Talent Solutions is an executive search and talent advisory firm serving the green industry: landscaping, tree care, pest control, facilities, and adjacent field services. We are conducting this search on behalf of an established commercial landscaping and grounds maintenance provider expanding into the Columbus market. The organization serves commercial properties, HOAs, and facility-managed accounts, and is investing in territory growth backed by proven operational infrastructure and leadership support. About the Role This is a market-building role for a business development professional who is comfortable starting from the ground up. The Territory Sales Manager will own the full sales cycle in the Huntsville market, from prospecting through estimating, proposal, and close, while establishing the relationships and repeatable sales motion needed to scale the territory. Success in the first year is measured by consistent pipeline development, early wins, and a foothold with local property managers and decision-makers. Responsibilities Business Development Build the Huntsville market through outbound business development efforts Prospect and close commercial landscaping and maintenance contracts Maintain consistent activity across cold calling, networking, and client meetings Network through industry organizations (BOMA, IREM, IFMA) and local events Build relationships with property managers and local decision-makers Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close Conduct site visits and develop tailored proposals Strategy and Market Growth Partner with leadership to define and refine go-to-market strategy Establish a consistent pipeline and secure early wins within the first 6 to 12 months Create a repeatable sales motion that supports long-term territory growth Qualifications Required Proven B2B sales experience with a track record of new business development Experience owning a full sales cycle including estimr'sating and proposal development Comfort with outbound prospecting and cold calling Valid drive license and willingness to travel throughout the territory Preferred Background in commercial landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a related outdoor services field Existing relationships within the Huntsville commercial property market Familiarity with Aspire, Site Recon, or comparable estimating platforms Active involvement in BOMA, IREM, IFMA, or similar industry associations Pay range and compensation package Base salary of $85,000 to $95,000 4% commission with an additional 1% multi-year kicker Car allowance of $850 per month, plus fuel, tolls, and maintenance Full benefits effective day one 401(k) with company match Direct access to leadership and meaningful influence over territory strategy Equal Opportunity Statement This employer is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
