Job Skills / Requirements Guard-Systems, Inc. is hiring a Front Desk Security Officer for the SAG-AFTRA building in the Mid-Wilshire area . This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in hospitality, customer service, and security who knows how to maintain a polished, professional presence in a busy public-facing environment. Because this building is open to the public and located on Wilshire, we are looking for someone who can warmly assist guests, confidently provide directions, and remain alert to building activity at all times. This is not just a sit-down front desk role. We need someone who can balance customer service with security awareness - someone comfortable interacting with all types of people, monitoring activity, writing reports, conducting patrols, and addressing issues professionally when needed. Experience in a high-rise commercial setting is a major plus. The SAG-AFTRA setting also makes this a great fit for someone who understands professional environments and can represent the property with confidence, courtesy, and strong communication skills. Schedule: Thursday - Sunday | 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Monday | 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour What You'll Do:

- Maintain a professional and welcoming front desk presence
- Greet guests, visitors, and building occupants
- Provide directions and assist the public with professionalism and confidence
- Monitor CCTV and observe building activity
- Conduct patrols throughout the property
- Complete incident reports clearly and accurately
- Work standing post assignments during portions of the shift
- Rotate posts with another officer every 2 hours
- Strong hospitality and customer service skills
- Security experience in a professional environment
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable interacting with the public and handling lobby activity
- Able to stay alert, adaptable, and proactive throughout the shift
- Comfortable with patrol, standing post duties, and report writing
- High-rise commercial experience is a strong plus
- Understanding of professional or entertainment-industry environments is a plus
