Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Role in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring a caring, reliable, and agile approach to daily responsibilities while working with integrity and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Day Time Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and property conditions to help support authorized entry, follow site procedures, and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Assist with routine site operations by preparing reports, maintaining post records, and communicating with tenants, contractors, and emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
