About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead its information security management program. The CISO will be a key member of the Information Technology Services leadership team, responsible for ensuring the protection of the company's data and assets. This role demands a strategic leader with a strong technical background, capable of staying abreast of the evolving threat landscape, particularly in the realm of AI-based threats. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading high-performing teams, engaging with the community, and working collaboratively to identify, evaluate, and report on information security risks. Key responsibilities include information security program leadership, team leadership, policy, compliance, and audit, as well as risk management, security operations, and incident response. The ideal CISO for the company will possess a distinctive blend of leadership, strategic perspective, and technical expertise. They should be curious, entrepreneurial, resourceful, collaborative, adaptable, user-centered, and growth-oriented. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with an advanced degree preferred, along with professional security management certification. The candidate should have at least 10 years' of experience in risk management, information security, and IT, with a significant portion in a senior leadership role. Familiarity with information security management frameworks, AI and machine learning-based security tools, and experience in contract and vendor management, particularly in the context of cloud computing technologies, is essential. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills are also a must, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
