About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join their senior leadership team. The CNO will be responsible for overseeing the establishment of best practices and standards for clinical services, managing nursing teams to ensure the highest quality of patient care, and coordinating nursing with other patient care and support functions. This role requires a minimum of a BSN, with a preference for an MSN or equivalent Masters in Healthcare, and at least 1 year of inpatient hospital rehab experience. The ideal candidate will have a current state licensure as a Registered Nurse, with a preference for 5 years of hospital nursing experience in acute care, and a Med Surg and ICU clinical background. Additionally, the CNO should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity, be open to working all shifts and selected holidays, and commit to obtaining CRRN certification within a year. The successful candidate for the CNO position at the company will be a key leader in driving progressive clinical excellence through staff development. They must be dedicated to the delivery of high-quality healthcare and be prepared to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment. The role also involves providing leadership and guidance in establishing standards for nursing and other clinical services. The CNO will be expected to have a strong clinical background, with a focus on Med Surg and ICU, and a proven track record in a managerial or supervisory role. Certification in BLS is required upon hire, with ACLS certification to be obtained within 6 months. The company is committed to maintaining high standards of care and is preparing for a Joint Commission review in September.
