About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide strategic and operational leadership for nursing services within an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The CNO will be responsible for overseeing all nursing operations, driving quality initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include partnering with medical, clinical, and therapeutic leaders to promote exceptional patient outcomes, developing and implementing nursing policies and clinical programs, managing staffing strategies, and monitoring patient care outcomes to improve quality and satisfaction. Candidates for the CNO position at the company must have an active RN license, BLS certification, and a Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field. An advanced degree is required or actively in progress. A minimum of 5 years' inpatient hospital experience and 2 years' recent nursing leadership experience with a focus on operational accountability, staff management, and budget oversight are essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards, experience in leading multidisciplinary teams, and a preference for those with CRRN certification or a willingness to obtain it. Leadership experience in inpatient rehabilitation, acute care hospital nursing, and a background in hospital operations and quality management are also preferred.
