Job Title: PCU Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Care Duration: Permanent Position Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in similar-sized facility with documented PCU experience. License: Valid nursing license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: - Experience in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU with a cardiac population. - Familiarity with cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors). - Ability to handle a patient ratio of 1:3-4. - Experience with STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, C/P cases. Description: We are looking for an experienced PCU Nurse to join our team. This position involves caring for patients in a progressive care unit with a focus on cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a ratio of 1:3-4. Additionally, the nurse may be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit that have lower acuity levels. Candidates must have strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of cardiac drips and medications is essential for this role. BLS and ACLS certification are mandatory for all applicants.
