Base pay range $55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr Responsibilities: Please Note: The following is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities The Associate School District Attorney will report to the School District Attorney and perform professional legal work as assigned. Assists in the legal representation of the School District at trials, hearings and other proceedings as assigned Reviews proposed rules and regulations in assigned areas Reviews proposed contracts and resolutions in assigned areas Makes investigations as directed of such matters as may be properly complained by citizens or public officials and reports facts to the School District Attorney and Deputy School District Attorney Qualifications: Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA accredited institution Admission to New York State Bar/Licensed to practice Law in the State of New York Minimum Three (3) years experience as a practicing member of the NYS Bar - preferred Previous experience in Education Law/Municipal practice - preferred Knowledge of NYS Education Law Rules and Regulations Strong skills in research, writing, and analysis Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Part-time Industries Primary and Secondary Education #J-18808-Ljbffr CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF NIAGARA FALLS
