Automotive Production Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Production Supervisor to direct daily manufacturing operations on the shop floor. In this role, you will lead assembly and production teams, drive operational excellence, and ensure strict compliance with quality, safety, and delivery standards. You will play a crucial role in maintaining lean manufacturing processes, optimizing cycle times, and fostering a high-performance continuous improvement culture in a fast-paced automotive environment.

salary: $60,000 - $62,500 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operational Leadership

• Direct daily assembly line, stamping, welding, or sub-assembly operations to meet volume, quality, and scrap targets.

• Monitor production metrics (OEE, TAKT time, cycle time, downtime) and implement immediate counter-measures for line bottlenecks.

• Plan work schedules, manpower allocation, and shift handovers to ensure seamless continuous production.

• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Materials teams to resolve equipment breakdowns, material shortages, and process deviations quickly.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 55lbs
• standing for 10 hours at one time
• working up to 12 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
