Your Role: Bankruptcy Attorney Handle commercial bankruptcy and restructuring matters from beginning to end. Advise business clients, creditors and commercial stakeholders on bankruptcy strategy, insolvency issues, workouts and disputes. Work on federal bankruptcy matters, including creditor-side representations and business-focused bankruptcy proceedings. Manage client relationships and contribute to the growth of the practice. Draft pleadings, motions, strategy documents and bankruptcy-related filings. Appear in court and handle matters with confidence, judgment and commercial awareness. Work closely with partners while having genuine autonomy and responsibility. For senior candidates, there is scope to build, expand and lead within the practice over time. Ideal Background: 5+ years’ bankruptcy / restructuring experience. Commercial bankruptcy background strongly preferred. Creditors’ rights, Chapter 11, insolvency or workout experience highly desirable. Texas licensed and in good standing. Able to manage matters independently from start to finish. Stable career history. Portable business or a partial book is preferred, but not essential for the right candidate. Strong commercial judgment and interest in long-term practice growth. Salary & Benefits: Associate compensation expected around $150k–$225k+, depending on experience, seniority and business generation. Partner compensation flexible and based on structure, collections, originations and overall contribution.
