Role Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of results, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and maintain lab equipment through regular calibration and preventive upkeep.
• Participate in specimen collection and help prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all processes, mentor new personnel, and uphold laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Promote a clean, safe laboratory environment while adhering to necessary regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within your first year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
