Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel TRAVEL - RN - MED SURG Location:Nashville,TN Shift Type: Night Shift Shift Time: Start Time: 07:00 PM End Time: 07:00 AM Duration: 13 weeks Hospital: Centennial Medical Center Address: 2300 Patterson Street Unit Name: 12 Tower General Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 36 Patient Ratios: 1:4 / 1:5 Unit staffing description- secretary every day, PRN techs Type of equipment: PD Cyclers, Basic equipment - Welch Allyn VS Carts, Hoyer Lift, Broda Chairs, Alaris IV Pumps Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week block Floating policy: Will float over core staff Patient Experience requirements: Bedside shift report, safety checks q1-2h, focus on commination and responsiveness Must have: Hospital Specifics- Certifications: BLS, NIHSS and Active compact or TN RN License Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Able to perform basic patient assessments, general care and maintenance of the following: Wounds, Tracheostomy, Ostomy, Drains, Chest Tubes, Strokes, Seizures. Patient population has at times will require dialysis or PCA pumps. Only drip is Heparin. Post-Op procedures on unit: Amputations, ostomy, drains, chest tubes, oral surgeries and wound vacs.
