• Conduct comprehensive individual therapy sessions and facilitate group therapy meetings aimed at fostering mental wellness.

• Perform detailed bio-psycho-social assessments to understand and address each client's unique situation.

• Equip clients with essential coping and social skills, focusing on anger management and reducing self-injurious behaviors or physical aggression.

• Support clients in enhancing their decision-making skills to manage behavioral challenges encountered in home settings.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including mental health professionals from diverse backgrounds, to provide holistic support to clients and their families.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and diagnostic assessments, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations.

• Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities, along with attending scheduled team meetings to review client progress and treatment strategies.

Your primary focus will be on working with a diverse cross-section of adult clients presenting with an array of mental health challenges. This includes individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other clinical conditions. • A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related field, which qualifies you as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW.

• Experience in crisis intervention training or a willingness to engage in additional training as required.

• Demonstrated post-internship field experience working with adults in clinical contexts.

• A strong foundation in treatment planning, goal setting, and developing progress notes and assessments using the DSM-V framework.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Gestalt therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma Response.

• Previous experience in providing positive behavior support and creating tailored treatment plans that meet individual client goals.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for maintaining client records and collaborating with team members effectively.
