Housekeeping Manager Sedona Premier | Sedona, AZ Full-time | On-site | Bilingual English/Spanish required

Sedona Premier is a luxury vacation rental property management company in Sedona, Arizona. We manage a portfolio of 100 residential vacation homes. Our in-house housekeeping team turns homes to a luxury guest-ready standard between every stay.

We are hiring a Housekeeping Manager to lead that department. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for staffing, training, quality control, and day-to-day operations across the full portfolio.

Position summary

The Housekeeping Manager oversees all housekeeping operations for Sedona Premier. This includes scheduling and supervising a team housekeepers, setting and enforcing cleaning standards, conducting property inspections, managing cleaning supplies and linen, hiring and developing staff, and coordinating with operations, maintenance, and guest services so every home is guest-ready on time.

The successful candidate will have proven hospitality housekeeping leadership, experience managing a large cleaning team held to a high standard, and the ability to lead effectively in both English and Spanish.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and supervise a team of housekeepers across 100 luxury vacation homes
• Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures, checklists, and training so cleaning quality is consistent from home to home
• Conduct regular property inspections; identify deficiencies, coach staff, and ensure corrective action before guest arrival
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and performance-manage housekeeping staff; maintain adequate staffing for peak turnover days
• Assign daily work, adjust coverage for same-day turns and callouts, and ensure homes are completed on schedule
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations on work orders, holds, and issues found during cleans or inspections
• Respond to cleanliness-related guest or owner concerns; resolve the immediate issue and prevent recurrence
• Conduct department meetings, document performance, and take corrective action when standards are not met
• Ensure proper chemical use, equipment care, and compliance with safety practices
• Maintain a professional demeanor under pressure and communicate clearly with staff of different backgrounds and working styles
• Prepare basic operational reporting as requested (staffing, completion, inspection results, recurring issues)

Required qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish (spoken and written), at a level sufficient to train, coach, hire, and correct performance in both languages
• 5+ years of housekeeping or cleaning management in hotels, resorts, luxury vacation rentals, or a comparable hospitality environment
• Demonstrated experience leading a large cleaning team (approximately 10 or more associates) to a high cleanliness standard
• Proven ability to standardize processes, train staff, and supervise quality in the field
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills; ability to be respected by staff while holding a firm standard
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on occupancy, including weekends, holidays, and peak turnover periods
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to work on-site throughout the Sedona / Verde Valley area
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred qualifications

• 8+ years in hospitality housekeeping, with 2+ years in a manager or executive housekeeper role
• Experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or vacation rental property management
• Experience with scheduling software, property management systems, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Supervisory experience that included hiring, training, and performance management
• Physical and work environment This role is performed in vacation homes and in the field. It requires walking, standing, bending, and climbing stairs throughout the day; occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds; and work in varying indoor and outdoor temperatures, including Sedona summer heat. The manager is expected to inspect homes in person and, as needed, support the team during high-volume turnover days.
