A Typical Day Might Include: Assists with organizing department initiatives, events, and leadership meetings as required Manage and maintain the Corporate Controller's calendar, including scheduling meetings, prioritizing conflicts, and coordinating across departments Organize and prepare materials for meetings, including agendas and supporting documentation Makes travel, conference, and seminar arrangements (flights, hotels, transportation, itineraries) Assists with travel expense reports and documentation as needed Draft, format, and distribute communications to the accounting department on behalf of the Controller Assists with ordering routine supplies for accounting department Assists with scheduling conference rooms for meetings and setup of beverages and food Handles administrative tasks as and when required Other tasks, as assigned Required Education/License/Certifications: Associates Degree preferred or experience in industry Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience Strong Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint knowledge Must be dependable and possess sense of urgency Previous experience in an engineering consulting firm strongly desired Excellent proofreading and editing skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment; ability to accurately work under pressure in meeting deadlines Level Up With LJA At LJA, we're 100% employee-owned.
