Administrative / Accounting Assistant
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative / Accounting Assistant to support daily office and accounting operations. If you have experience with administrative tasks, bookkeeping, and providing excellent organizational support, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to management and office staff
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial and office records
- Review invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents for accuracy
- Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations
- Support payroll processing and other accounting functions as needed
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist customers and vendors professionally
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence using Microsoft Office
- Assist with month-end closing activities and other office projects as assigned
Qualifications
- 12 years of experience in an administrative assistant, accounting assistant, bookkeeping, or related office support role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to learn
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
