Associate Attorney - Employment Law

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in employment law to join their team in New York City, NY. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative environment, primarily second-chairing cases and supporting the firm's efforts in prosecuting various employment cases. Duties Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of statutes, regulations, and case law. Communicate with clients to gather information and provide case updates. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and complaints. Assist in managing caseloads and maintaining case files and deadlines. Prepare and conduct depositions and assist with the discovery process. Requirements 1-2 years of litigation or clerkship experience. Strong skills in legal writing, research, and analysis. Effective and persuasive communication abilities. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Collaborative and team-oriented approach. Commitment to advocating for individuals deprived of their legal rights. Admitted to the New York Bar. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admitted to the New York Bar. Skills Legal research and writing. Client communication. Case management. Deposition and discovery preparation. Benefits Health, vision, and dental insurance.
