JOB TITLE: Aerospace Buyer LOCATION: El Segundo, CA PAY RATE: $26-42/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. Summary: Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with organizational goals Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors Support supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including long lead times Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation Support product production lines as needed Assist in project planning, defining objectives and scopes, and communicating with stakeholders Perform additional responsibilities as required Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field 4+ years of procurement experience in a technical environment Self-starter with ability to drive improvements and meet deadlines Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR). Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree (MBA) or related discipline 10+ years of procurement experience in a technical environment Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Knowledge of AS9100D, ISO9001, and other quality standards About Us: The Structures Company is a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency specializing in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire placements.
