Litigation Secretary

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to join a busy and collaborative legal team in Oxnard, California. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with strong litigation support experience who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to litigation attorneys
• Prepare, format, and file pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Assist with electronic filing in state and federal courts
• Manage calendars, deadlines, hearings, depositions, and meetings
• Assist with discovery and trial preparation
• Maintain organized case files and documents
• Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties
• Support attorneys with day-to-day case management

Qualifications:

• Prior litigation secretary or legal secretary experience
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and legal terminology
• Experience with court filings and calendaring
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
