Maintenance Technician

Compensation from $21.50 to $23.50/hour

Status/Shift: Full Time Day, 7am-3pm Occasional Weekends/Holidays

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of at least one of the following trades: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, Freon, HVAC, required
• At least five years prior experience or technical training in maintenance is preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Active Driver's License required
• Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Possess a basic mechanical aptitude

Job Responsibilities:

• Repairs and maintains physical structure and systems.
• Maintains the community's grounds to include mowing lawns, trimming, snow removal, etc.
• Completes maintenance work orders as assigned including, but not limited to, duties of a skilled maintenance worker, testing/inspection of community systems, etc.
• Responsible for the repair and maintenance of the community electrical and utility systems.
• Participates in community preventative maintenance schedule.
• Maintains safety systems within community (security, fire alarms, emergency call systems, access systems, nurse call systems, patient wandering systems).
• Repairs and maintains technical physical structures and systems including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, Freon, HVAC systems, etc.
