Global Financial Firm located in Tampa, FL has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Junior Python Developer. Pay Rate: $47.00 - $50.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience. Work Mode: Hybrid Location: Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Perform data mining by manipulating and drawing insights from large unstructured datasets.
• Develop end-to-end Machine Learning prototypes and scale them to run in production environments, including data cleaning, pre-processing, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and prediction generation.
• Design and work on state-of-the-art Machine Learning algorithms to build a data classification model.
• Build interactive dashboards and integrate them with model's training and validation pipelines.
• Provide assistance with a product or product component development within the technology domain.
• Provide third line support to identify the root cause of issues and react to systems and application outages or networking issues.
• Support projects and provide project status updates to project manager or Sr. Engineer.
• Partner with development teams to identify engineering requirements and assist with defining application/system requirements and processes.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the company's reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with Python and Big Data.
• Languages: Python, R, Matlab, SQL.
• Frameworks: PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Numpy, Pandas, Seaborn, Matplotlib, Plotly, Flask, Tableau, Keras, stats models.
• Tools and Services: Docker, AWS (Amazon Web Services), Apache Spark, Git.
• Expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Statistics Analysis and Computing, Data Visualization, Data Wrangling, Data Modelling and Evaluation, Model Deployment.
• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment is a plus.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices.
• Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
• Proven track record of operational process change and improvement.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
