Regional Technical Sales Manager

Role Description The Regional Technical Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Stafford, TX, responsible for driving sales growth and managing customer relationships with Engineering companies (EPC's). This role involves promoting KITZ and Perrin valve products and solutions, conducting technical product presentations, and providing guidance to customers on product selection and applications. The Regional Technical Sales Manager will manage existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate quotations, order processing, and timely delivery. Daily activities include visiting customer sites, responding to technical and commercial inquiries, supporting distributors, and monitoring market trends and competitor activity. The role also involves preparing sales forecasts and collaborating with engineering and operations to resolve technical issues and improve customer satisfaction. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Technical Sales skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Candidates should possess Account Management and Customer Service skills to nurture long-term relationships and provide responsive support to regional customers and distributors. Candidates should possess Technical Support skills, including the ability to understand valve specifications, flow control applications, and troubleshoot product-related issues. Candidates should possess skills in territory planning, opportunity identification, and basic CRM usage to manage pipelines and report on sales activities. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience in technical or industrial sales. Experience in valves, pumps, or related flow control products is required. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with engineers, procurement, and construction teams.
