Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, with a focus on improving mobility, strength, and functionality tailored to each patient's specific diagnosis and goals.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities aimed at enhancing physical well-being and alleviating pain while monitoring their performance and providing constructive feedback.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercise techniques, and develop home exercise programs that empower them to manage their recovery independently.
• Administer various therapeutic modalities under your supervision—such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy—tailoring interventions based on patient progress.
• Document patient progress meticulously, including range of motion assessments, strength gains, and overall functional improvements, contributing to a comprehensive record that informs treatment adjustments.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are organized, sanitized, and readily available to facilitate efficient therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team comprising Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, fostering communication to optimize patient care and achieve the best outcomes.
• Provide emotional support to patients, helping them navigate the rehabilitation process with encouragement and motivation, thereby fostering a positive and inspiring environment.

Qualifications
