Human Resources GeneralistDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Human Resources Generalist for an organization in the Twin Cities area. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day HR operations while serving as a resource to employees and managers on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and HR policies. Read below for more information!Support day-to-day HR operations and provide guidance to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and programsCoordinate full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, reference checks, and onboardingFacilitate new hire orientation and onboarding to create a positive employee experienceAssist managers with employee relations, performance concerns, policy interpretation, investigations, and employee coachingMaintain accurate employee records and HRIS data while supporting HR compliance requirementsCoordinate benefits administration, leaves of absence, accommodations, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work activitiesSupport performance management, employee engagement, training, and HR process improvement initiativesBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered3–5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist, Recruiter, HR Coordinator, or related HR roleWorking knowledge of federal and Minnesota employment laws and HR best practicesStrong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain confidentialityAbility to occasionally travel between Minnesota locations; a valid driver’s license and satisfactory completion of a criminal background check are requiredSHRM-CP or PHR certification and experience in manufacturing, nonprofit, social enterprise, or multi-site environments are preferredEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
