Job Description As a Security Officer Property Patrol in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while reporting security-related concerns. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 06:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 06:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, contractors, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction work areas, access points, material storage areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, directing authorized visitors and deliveries, and reporting unauthorized access attempts according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and daily records while communicating professionally with personnel across an active industrial construction environment. Minimum Requirements Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
