As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic media and technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will use computer or tablet systems, provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a media and communications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including offices, production areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; assist with directing guests, verifying credentials, and reporting irregularities.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports related to patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in alignment with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
