Sr. Lead, Continuous Improvement and Productivity

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Lead, Continuous Improvement and Productivity based in the United States.

This role will drive continuous improvement and productivity initiatives across a broad supply chain network. You will work directly with site leadership to deploy improvement systems, strengthen organizational capabilities, and deliver measurable business results. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on coaching in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and related improvement methodologies. You will help teams identify waste, prioritize opportunities, improve value streams, and build sustainable problem-solving capabilities. Using analytics and business intelligence, you will support project selection, root-cause analysis, validation, and productivity governance. This is a highly collaborative leadership role with significant influence across functions, sites, and organizational levels.

Accountabilities:

• Facilitate the development of business unit master plans that support short- and long-term objectives through system deployment, capability building, strategic alignment, waste elimination, and employee engagement.
• Partner with site leadership to establish monthly, quarterly, and annual continuous improvement strategies, plans, and execution priorities.
• Help sites build the capability to identify, facilitate, manage, and track functional cost improvement and productivity projects.
• Align continuous improvement initiatives with strategic business priorities and the broader improvement methodology and implementation roadmap.
• Coach leadership teams in integrating continuous improvement methods, systems, and problem-solving practices into daily operations.
• Build organizational capability and deploy systems designed to optimize value streams, processes, and operational performance.
• Implement loss analysis, idea-generation, and improvement-promotion processes to identify and address performance opportunities.
• Support facilities in achieving annual productivity objectives and contribute to productivity governance through regular reporting and program management.
• Support the development of manufacturing productivity budgets at the site level.
• Provide analytics and business intelligence to support project selection, root-cause analysis, prioritization, and project validation.
• Ensure objectives and improvement priorities are clearly communicated, cascaded, and understood throughout the organization.
• Connect improvement workgroups and functional teams to prioritized business opportunities and measurable performance gaps.
• Teach and support teams in the effective use of problem-solving, tracking, and performance-management tools.
• Conduct regular validation of projects and initiatives with relevant functions and operating units to ensure results remain aligned with objectives.
• Build relationships with global and organizational leaders to share best practices, lessons learned, and scalable improvement approaches.
• Provide guidance and alignment in support of the broader continuous improvement agenda.
• Develop key internal resources and strengthen the capabilities required to deliver critical initiatives.
• Foster strong relationships across functions and promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure improvement initiatives deliver both measurable business results and sustainable cultural change through capability building, employee involvement, and clear connections between individual activities, operational losses, and business priorities.
• Support the successful delivery of major capital projects on time and within budget.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in a central supply chain or comparable strategic and operational environment, with significant experience applying continuous improvement methodologies such as TPM, Lean, or Six Sigma.
• At least 5 years of functional or operational leadership experience within a continuous improvement environment involving multiple functions and/or sites.
• Six Sigma, Lean, TPM, or comparable professional certification is preferred.
• Proven leadership and project management capabilities, with a track record of organizing complex initiatives and delivering measurable results.
• Strong ability to build trust and collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, develop, and influence people while communicating effectively and listening to diverse perspectives.
• Creative, adaptable, organized, reliable, innovative, and self-directed approach to work.
• Strong ability to embrace change, lead transformation, and challenge traditional approaches constructively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and business productivity tools.
• Strong problem-solving, prioritization, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a high-volume, performance-driven environment.
• Strong analytical capabilities and experience using data to support project selection, root-cause analysis, and performance validation.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time to supply chain locations across the United States and internationally.

Benefits:

• Remote base salary range of $100,080–$150,120, based on experience and relevant qualifications.
